Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate techniques such as buffing and floor care procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a pristine appearance
• Conduct routine custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and ensuring equipment is operational
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Support industrial cleaning projects when required, including high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks
• Keep detailed logs of completed work and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors is a plus
• Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance can be advantageous but is not required
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures ensures effective performance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
