Janitorial Worker (Mon-Sat; 5 Am - 7 Am)

Job responsibilities:

· Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

· Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

· Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.

· Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.

· Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches.

· Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas.

· Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

· Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners for floor care.

· Responsible for ensuring that all major cleaning, daily detailed cleaning, and projects are completed on schedule in area of responsibility; inspects and reviews the work of assigned group.

· Ensures that all cleaning areas are serviced and cleaned when scheduled and unscheduled staff shortages occur.

· Train new employees in proper cleaning methods and procedures.

· Complete remedial training for employees.

Job requirements:

· Previous experience in facilities maintenance, custodial work, or industrial/commercial cleaning preferred.

· Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.

· Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
