What’s on offer?
We are looking to fill the role of a Group JDE Helpdesk Support Analyst to be based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Group JDE Support Manager, the JDE Helpdesk Support Analyst role is critical for maintaining the smooth operation and high-quality support of Fulton Hogan’s JD Edwards (JDE) system, ensuring that all users can effectively utilise this core business tool. This involves delivering first-level user support, troubleshooting system issues, and providing guidance to ensure adherence to best practices.
By ensuring that all users are competent in using the JDE system, the helpdesk role contributes significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business operations across the organisation.
The JDE Helpdesk Support Analyst will actively contribute to the improvement and optimisation of financial reporting tools and mobile applications, aligning with Fulton Hogan's commitment to meeting and exceeding organisational requirements. Your role will be essential in bridging the gap between technical support and business functionality, ensuring that the Information Systems team can deliver on their promise of high-quality and reliable service.
What will you be responsible for?
- Manage and resolve user issues within agreed time frames using the ITSM tool, escalating to JDE functional consultants as necessary.
- Set up new JDE users, managing and assigning security roles, and creating and maintaining GL codes, business units, users, companies, and printers within JDE. Perform quarterly reviews of roles and security.
- Maintain and close helpdesk calls promptly using the designated ITSM tool, ensuring that all calls have a resolution reason for accurate analysis. You will follow systems, policies, and procedures to flag potential process improvements.
- Conduct thorough testing on changes within JDE, including existing reports, new reports, modifications, and other necessary testing to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Participate in JDE projects as directed, supporting both system development and business-as-usual activities.
How you’ll connect to the role?
We need a business-driven IT professional with solid accounting knowledge and practical experience in a job cost environment, along with strong JDE applications knowledge relevant to Fulton Hogan.
Your exceptional interpersonal skills are vital for effective communication with JDE users at all levels and technical CNC support staff. Additionally, your strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach will be key factors in achieving success in this role. Your ability to proactively plan and organise ensures tasks are completed efficiently while your keen attention to detail guarantees they are consistently achieved to a high standard. A good understanding of our industry sectors is beneficial.
