We need volunteers for roles such as;

Route guards

Aid Station

Set-up and take-down

Start and finish area

Route guard:
Become an important part of Royal Copenhagen City Half as a route guard. You help create a safe and enjoyable experience for thousands of runners and spectators.

As a route guard, you help guide the runners correctly through the route, keep an overview of your area and ensure that the audience is safe.

You will have a central role on the day, where you will feel the energy up close and help make the event work.

We provide clear briefings so that you feel comfortable with the task - and of course you become part of a strong community of volunteers.

Perfect if you want to be close to the race, make a difference and experience the atmosphere from the front row.

Aid Station:
Become a central part of the running experience at one of our hydration stations.

As a volunteer at the hydration depot, you will ensure that the runners get the energy they need along the way. You will help pour Vitamin Well into mugs, set them up, and hand out drinks to the many participants as they pass by.

The task is fast-paced and takes place in the middle of the race, where the atmosphere is high, and your efforts make a noticeable difference for each and every runner. Together with your team, you create an efficient and well-functioning depot, where cooperation and timing are key.

Perfect if you want to be close to the race, work at a high pace and give the runners an extra boost on the route.

Setup and teardown:
Join us behind the scenes at the Royal Copenhagen City Half and make the race possible from start to finish.

As a volunteer in set-up and take-down, you help build the framework – from tents and medic areas to waste stations and other important facilities. Your efforts are crucial to ensuring that the event runs professionally and safely for both runners and spectators.

You work with a team where there are clear tasks and good coordination, so everyone knows what needs to be done. The tasks are practical and varied, and you get a unique insight into how a large event is created – and taken down again.

Perfect if you like to take action, work in teams and be an important part of the engine room behind a large event.

Start and finish area:
Become part of the heart of Royal Copenhagen City Half in the start and finish area.

Here you help create a safe, professional and positive experience for both runners and spectators. You help guide runners before the start, assist them in the finish area and ensure that everyone finds their way and gets the help they need.

The tasks range from guidance and crowd management to securing the route in the area. After the race, you help celebrate the runners by handing out medals and refreshments – often one of the most grateful moments of the day.

The work takes place in close collaboration with other volunteers and with high activity throughout the day.

Perfect if you want to be in the middle of the action, work with people and contribute to a good experience from start to finish.
