Volunteer at anti-clothing waste events.
Are you passionate about sustainable fashion? Are you looking for a cozy community where you can meet others who also dream of more sustainable clothing consumption?

Volunteer at anti-clothing waste events (e.g. clothing swap, craftivism festival) in Copenhagen/Sjælland.

A clothes swap where you can swap clothes, shoes and accessories for both children and adults. The rules vary slightly depending on the swap event.

Typical tasks:
welcome guests and explain the rules of the clothes swap,

sort and hang up clothes

keep the swap area tidy e.g. folding clothes

weigh clothes at the check out station, so we know how much we have swapped in total

Craftivism festival is a full day event focused on clothing waste and community. It includes workshops, clothig swap, fashion show from Re: wairs Upcycling Challenge 2026.

Typical tasks:
helping at clothing swap (see above)

Welcome participants, and direct them to where they need to do, answer questions

Fashion show (assisting fashion show, communiating with models, etc)

event production (rearrange rooms for the show or events, setting up decoration, tables/chairs, making sure there are coffee, tea, snacks for volunteers)

5. juni (Clothing swap - Folkemødet i Odsherred, Den Rytmiske Højskole, bweteeen kl. 9-18 (but not the entire time) including transport)

6. juni (Clothing swap + repair station at Østerbroweekend - Fælledparken, kl. 10-15)

7. juni (Clothing swap + repair station at Østerbroweekend - Fælledparken, kl. 10-15)

14. juni (Clothing swap - Kay Fiskers Plads Nærgenbrugsstation kl. 12-17)
