Mountain Street Plumbing & Heating is currently looking for a full-time Journeyman Commercial Service Plumber for commercial repairs, service, boilers, preventative maintenance, and mechanical installation services.

Duties & Essential Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water drainage systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Test new fittings and fixtures for leaks.
• Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial plumbing fixtures.
• Building shut down and repairs.
• Must have own basic tools to perform job duties.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, with paid overtime (after 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week) and on-call as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Journeyman plumbing and gas ticket required.
• Experience in commercial service is an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
• Ability to carry out service work in a professional and respectful manner.
• Strong troubleshooting ability is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and drivers abstract.
• Able to work on boilers and hydronic heating systems.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to meet required project deadlines.
• Able to work independently or part of a team.
• Meticulous to detail yet efficient.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
