Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial environments.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
• Maintain electrical systems by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Follow electrical safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on all job sites.
• Ensure all work complies with Indiana 2008 NEC (National Electrical Code), local building codes.
• Assist in the training of apprentices or junior technicians when required, sharing knowledge of all electrical work.

Skills

• Extensive experience as a residential journeyman electrician.
• Experience with commercial electrical. (not required but preferred)
• Deep understanding of electrical safety procedures to ensure safe work environments at all times.
• Strong knowledge with Indiana 2008 NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills; and testing devices like voltmeters and ammeters.
• Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting efficiently across diverse settings while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
