Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Hand Electrician to oversee and coordinate project tasks within our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial electrical work in construction, and renovation, along with the ability to read and understand blueprints. As a Lead Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Supervise and lead a team of workers on-site, ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction and electrical tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout all phases of work.
• Assist in training new team members on proper techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction plans.
• Experience as a commercial and residential electrician or in related electrical fields.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
• Strong maintenance person skills with experience in renovation projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
