We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical knowledge and a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including new construction, repairs, and system upgrades, ensuring all work meets safety standards and building codes. Candidates must be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of heavy lifting and using various hand and power tools.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools for installation and repair tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project needs
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing installations within larger building projects
- Follow safety protocols and building codes during all phases of work
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently using diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
- Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as required
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in construction or maintenance environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction settings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $39.00-$44.00 per hour
