Jr. Channel Account Manager - Australia/Apac (Remote)

Job Title: Junior Channel Account Manager – Partner Recruitment & Engagement

Location: Remote - Australia/APAC Territory

Reports To: Don Martin - SVP Global Partnerships

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Channel Account Manager to join our growing channel sales team. This entry-level position is specifically focused on VAR (Value-Added Reseller) recruitment and fostering channel engagement for leading ERP platforms, including Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, and Microsoft. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying and onboarding new channel partners, developing strong relationships, and ensuring ongoing engagement to drive sales and growth.

This role requires a keen interest in channel sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our partners' success in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. VAR/Partner Recruitment:

  • Identify and target potential VAR partners for Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, and Microsoft solutions.

  • Engage with prospective partners to understand their business models and introduce them to the Netstock partner programs and offerings.

  • Coordinate with the channel team to execute partner recruitment campaigns and outreach efforts.

  • Support onboarding and integration of new partners into the program, ensuring a smooth start and clear understanding of partnership expectations and benefits.

2. Partner Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners, acting as their primary point of contact for support and resources.

  • Proactively engage with partners to ensure they are equipped with the tools, training, and resources they need to effectively sell and support our products.

  • Regularly check in with partners to track progress, address challenges, and provide guidance on sales strategies.

  • Work closely with partners to drive joint marketing initiatives and co-selling opportunities.

3. Sales Enablement & Support:

  • Provide partners with sales enablement tools, training, and product knowledge to empower them to effectively sell Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, and Microsoft solutions.

  • Ensure that partners have the necessary support in terms of product documentation, demos, and technical resources.

  • Assist partners in identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within their existing customer base.

4. Partner Program Optimization:

  • Monitor partner performance to assess engagement levels and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with senior team members to refine and enhance partner recruitment strategies, sales programs, and partner incentives.

  • Contribute to the development of partner communication materials, such as newsletters, FAQs, and program updates.

5. Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track and report on recruitment progress, partner activity, and performance metrics.

  • Provide regular updates to management on the success of recruitment campaigns and engagement activities.

  • Analyze market trends and partner feedback to assist in the refinement of recruitment and engagement strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or sales support (ideal but not required).

  • Previous exposure to the ERP software market, specifically with Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, or Microsoft products is a plus but not required.

  • Strong interest in technology, SaaS, and channel sales dynamics.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce preferably) and sales enablement platforms.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities.
