What you’ll do here:
- Assist with startup and commissioning of cooling towers and heat pump systems
- Support routine inspections and basic diagnostics
- Learn to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Document service activities and site observations
- Work alongside senior technicians to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols including working-at-heights requirements, fall arrest, WHMIS, etc
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, sales teams, and customers on site
The experience you bring:
- Completion of a post-secondary program in an HVAC related program
- 2+ years of mechanical, HVAC, or related technical experience
- Basic understanding of mechanical, plumbing, or electrical systems is beneficial
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a hands-on environment
- Valid Working at Heights, Fall Arrest, and other required safety certifications, or comfortability to obtain upon hire
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail
