Here is your chance to find out as ServiceTec, the leading independent provider of managed IT services to the aviation industry, has an exciting recruitment opportunity for a part-time Junior Airport IT Technician at Oslo Gardermoen Airport in Norway. If you are looking for a challenge whereby no two days are the same, then this position may be for you.


Due to business expansion, we are recruiting for a part-time Junior Airport IT Technician to join our team, working a minimum of 52 hours per month which may include working public holidays if it falls on your working day. Due to the hours involved, ideally candidates should reside close to Oslo Gardermoen Airport.


The work involves preventative maintenance, replenishing papers and consumables stock as scheduled and needed on a reactive basis. This work is predominantly performed at the Airport check-in and departure gates.


Individuals must have an aptitude for learning (a technical mind is advantageous), possess excellent customer service skills and have first-hand experience of dealing with a variety of customers in a fast paced and pressurised environment.


Experience and Knowledge Requirements


  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English.
  • Experience working in airports is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Flexible with working hours.
  • Access to your own transport to get to the airport when public transport is not running.
  • Meet relevant airport security check requirements.
