ABOUT THE POSITION
Our studio is continuing to grow, and with new and exciting projects coming in, we are seeking a Junior Audio Programmer for our studio located in Dublin, to join us in developing AAA games for some of the most renowned studios in the world.
- Work with audio designers to design technical approach to achieve artistic vision
- Plan and detail any environment requirements for optimal audio presentation
- Work with Gameplay, AI, and Optimisation engineers to integrate audio systems while staying in performance budgets
- Profile and optimise audio usage to achieve high quality with minimal CPU and memory overhead
- Deliver high-performance, high-quality, and well-documented code
- Use source control and bug reporting software
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a team environment
- Knowledge and experience of C++
- Experience with Unreal Engine
- Good Knowledge and experience with Wwise.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiar with profiling and debugging tools
- Passion for developing immersive audio solutions that elevate the player experience
Clear passion for gaming
Desirable
- Experience with integrating audio driven effects. (e.g. Wwise motion)
- Experience working with Wwise authoring API (WAAPI)
- Design and implement solid APIs.
- Agile development experience
- Tool creation experience
- Familiarity with other coding languages such as C#, Python, Groovy
