ETM Corporate Services BV (“ETM”) is an independent trust company in Amsterdam, providing Corporate business services to multinational enterprises in The Netherlands. Our company is continuously expanding its business and is growing while keeping regard to the strong basis that has been built over the years. Today, the team of ETM consists of qualified professionals from sixteen different nationalities.

The role we seek – Junior Compliance officer:

The junior compliance officer is responsible for the sound functioning of the company and controls the internal and external compliance risks. The junior compliance officer advises on the implementation of laws and regulations in policies and procedures and supervises that the team acts accordingly. Furthermore, the junior compliance officer participates in the compliance meetings wherein the team is updated on the latest compliance developments.

Responsibilities:

• The development and implementation of the compliance policy of ETM.
• Translation of the policy to operational procedures and measurements.
• Compliance opinion and advice on client file reviews;
• Signaling and advice on new laws and legislations.
• Facilitates the first line as a business enabler without losing its independent and critical look.
• Arrange compliance meetings to keep the team informed on the latest developments in compliance meetings.
• Advisor of management and team of ETM on compliance issues.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience as a compliance professional in the financial sector.
• Experience in a Dutch Trust office and/or a global firm is a plus
• Bachelor/Master’s degree.
• Strong understanding of Dutch regulations and applicable international legislation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant degree for compliance professionals, , is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
• Willing and able to work in a global, multicultural environment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Dutch and English.
