We’re on the lookout for a Junior Continuous Improvement Team Member who’s keen to learn, solve problems, and grow their career in one of the most critical areas of our business – network operations.
The Warehouse Group (TWG) has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognise the role that we play in communities throughout New Zealand. We are the largest general merchandise retailer in NZ across The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery & Noel Leeming. We are at an exciting point in our journey where our focus is on becoming brand-centric, aiming to deliver an unparalleled experience for our customers. Agility and collaboration are cornerstones of our work culture, empowering us to adapt swiftly and work seamlessly together. By being brand-led and retail-focused, we are intentional about placing the right people in the right roles, allowing us to perform work that truly makes a difference.
As a Junior Continuous Improvement Team Member, you’ll sit within Network Operations and partner with our logistics leadership to drive measurable gains across TWG’s distribution network. You’ll blend advanced analytics, process optimisation and change-management expertise to forecast resourcing needs, refine workflows and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

You’ll be responsible for:

Assist in analysing seasonal and promotional data to identify resource or workflow impacts
Work with planning and operations teams to ensure the right inputs flow into business decisions
Performance Reporting & Analytics

Present simple insights that highlight trends or performance opportunities
Support weekly reporting cycles and performance reviews
Process Improvement Projects
Participate in workshops and improvement initiatives (e.g. root cause analysis, value stream mapping)
Document processes, collect data and help track benefits from CI projects
Stay curious and contribute fresh ideas that could improve how we work
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with key contacts in Operations, Engineering and Analytics teams
Share updates, raise issues and ask questions to help keep projects moving
Champion continuous improvement culture across your area and share quick wins
A relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data/Analytics or related)
1–2 years' experience in a supply chain, logistics, CI or operational support role (internships or grad roles welcome)
Strong analytical skills – comfortable working in Excel, with exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Some understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement concepts
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work with a variety of teams
A positive, can-do attitude and desire to learn and grow within a high-performing team
You will bring:
Curiosity: You ask questions, explore data and enjoy problem solving
Team Player: You collaborate well, build strong relationships and communicate clearly
Detail-Oriented: You’re methodical and accurate, but can also see the bigger picture
Resilience & Drive: You stay focused, even when the pace is high or priorities shift
Willingness to Learn: You’re open to feedback and eager to build your capability in supply chain and CI

We offer a dynamic, flexible and supportive team environment working with like-minded people within a business that cares about and recognises individuals.
We also offer:
Learning and development through TWG’s talent programmes and on-the-job coaching
Exposure to large-scale supply chain operations and real business challenges
Flexible working options and access to wellness initiatives
Generous staff discounts across all our TWG brands
