Junior Credit Controller

JOB SPECIFICATION / JOB PURPOSE:

As a Junior Credit Controller, you will be overseeing the collection of B2B accounts, whilst consistently monitoring debtor balances, ensuring a reduction in debtors.

Location: Rivenhall End, Witham, Essex

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

(Main Duties)

• Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
• Be the point of contact for all credit control issues for your ledger
• Allocate debt collections within the ledger
• Ensure customers who are in liquidation processes are managed efficiently and to a satisfactory resolution
• Ensure customer queries are resolved in a prompt and professional manner
• Work closely with the AR and Accounting team to ensure a collaborative approach and high standards of work at all times
• Work closely with all departments across the division to resolve issues
• Provide cover for other members of the credit control team as and when required
• Keep detailed credit control notes on the system and regularly send customer statements
• Meet KPI’s set by the line manager

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Preferably has Credit Control experience
• Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence and persistence
• Strong IT skills
• Good numeracy skills
• Ability to be proactive
