The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between a client’s organizational challenges and a beautiful, functional reality. This is a fast-paced, consultative position that requires a blend of creative vision, technical proficiency, and "people person" energy.

As a Junior Designer, you will work closely with our senior design team to master our specific systems while managing your own book of business and conducting in-home consultations across Volusia and Flagler counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Consultative Design: Conduct professional in-home consultations to assess client needs, measure spaces, and provide expert organizational recommendations.
• 3D Visualizations: Use specialized design software to create detailed 2D and 3D renderings, helping clients visualize their dream closets and storage spaces.
• Proposal & Sales Management: Develop and present comprehensive proposals, including design options, hardware finishes, and project timelines.
• Client Advocacy: Guide homeowners through the selection process, ensuring they understand the materials and features that best suit their lifestyle.
• Showroom Presence: Assist with walk-in clients at our Daytona Beach office and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Project Follow-Through: Collaborate with our production and installation teams to ensure your designs are executed to our 35-year standard of quality.

Qualifications

• Creative Intuition: A natural eye for design, organization, and spatial layouts.
• Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills are a must. You should be comfortable learning and mastering new 3D design software and CRM tools.
• Communication Pro: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Self-Motivated: A "closer" mentality—you are driven by hitting sales goals and the financial rewards of uncapped commissions.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to take precise measurements and maintain accurate records.
• Requirements: Reliable transportation for local travel (Volusia/Flagler) and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Base Salary: $40,000 per year.
