As a Junior Event Manager, you will play a key role in expanding this network and organizing impactful events.

Build a thriving AI community
As a Junior Event Manager within the Community Team, you will have a pivotal role in shaping and executing our diverse event calendar. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management within an innovative and fast-growing sector. You will work closely with the Community Strategist and other team members to organize high-quality AI events, from concept to execution.

Your role as Junior Event Manager
You will be responsible for the full organization and execution of our AI events. You will oversee planning, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure that each event runs smoothly. This includes:

Your key responsibilities:

  • Event planning & execution – From concept development to logistical coordination and operational execution.
  • Budget management – Drafting and monitoring budgets to deliver cost-effective events without compromising quality.
  • Stakeholder management – Maintaining relationships with speakers, sponsors, venues, and other partners.
  • Marketing & promotion – Collaborating with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies via social media, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Community engagement – Encouraging interaction during and after events to increase involvement within the AI community.
  • Evaluation & optimization – Measuring event success through feedback and data analysis, implementing improvements for future editions.

You will be part of an energetic team that brings together AI professionals, businesses, and researchers to accelerate innovation.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a proactive and driven Junior Event Manager who is passionate about organizing events and thrives in an innovative environment. You are hands-on and can juggle multiple tasks while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. Your profile:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in Event Management or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in event organization, preferably within the technology or AI sector.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with great attention to detail.
  • Affinity with technology and an interest in AI.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
