We are a dynamic company focused on creating over 100 new products per year in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who will specialize in packaging updates and play an integral role in ensuring our print production meets the highest quality standards. You’ll be working closely with the design and product development teams to deliver consistent, on-brand visuals while ensuring every detail is meticulously executed.

Position Summary
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for managing packaging updates and overseeing print production for nearly 2,500 products across various categories. You’ll work directly with the design and product development teams, contributing to the creation of new products and ensuring designs meet the company’s high standards.

In this role, precision and attention to detail are essential as you will be handling multiple projects, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring consistency and quality across all visual outputs. Your ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly will be key in delivering successful design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging Design & Updates: Regularly update packaging designs using vector programs while ensuring consistency with the company’s branding guidelines. Create templates, manuals, and coordinate with translators in Europe. Organize and maintain artwork files in a global, centralized folder for accessibility across international offices. Ensure artwork is kept up-to-date with the latest specifications.
• Print Production Management: Oversee the production of packaging and other printed materials, working closely with production teams and print factories to ensure designs are printed accurately and meet regulatory and brand standards. Help develop print specifications and materials, and closely review proofs to ensure there are no errors that could impact production costs.
• Attention to Detail in Print Production: Ensure that all printed materials are flawless, upholding the highest standards of quality throughout print production.
• Product Design: Work with product development team to conceptualize basic designs for new products, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functional requirements are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field
• At least 1 year of graphic design experience, ideally within the retail or fast-moving consumer goods sector
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office
• Experience with print production and packaging design is a must
• Knowledge of 3D Software (e.g., Solidworks) and InDesign is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in print production, where precision is key to ensuring high-quality results
• Ability to manage multiple design projects, meet deadlines, and maintain brand consistency across formats
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when liaising with overseas vendors

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to update packaging designs based on project specifications and feedback
• Review and revise previous design work, ensuring all projects meet packaging and print guidelines
• Maintain strict quality control throughout print production to ensure flawless outcomes
• Communicate with clients and vendors, ensuring all designs meet their expectations and adhere to deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €26,500.00-€33,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cavan Road, Kells, CO. Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
