Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assist in managing IT assets, including hardware, software licences, and network equipment
• Support server management activities, including Active Directory and Windows Server administration
• Contribute to information security initiatives and network security protocols
• Aid in disaster recovery planning and implementation to ensure business continuity
• Monitor and support network infrastructure such as Cisco routers, LAN, WAN, and firewalls
• Utilise SolarWinds, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, and other tools for asset tracking and incident management
• Provide technical support related to desktop support, remote access software, and system troubleshooting
• Collaborate with senior team members on system engineering projects involving VMware vSphere, Microsoft SQL Server, AWS, Azure, and Linux environments
• Assist in project management tasks using ITIL methodologies and organisational skills to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Analyse system performance metrics and generate reports using Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Support network infrastructure upgrades and maintenance activities including DHCP, IIS, Microsoft Windows Server environments

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with server management, information security, or network security is desirable
• Proven ability in technical support roles involving computer networking and systems engineering concepts
• Supervising or management experience is advantageous but not essential; leadership qualities are valued
• Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures and network engineering principles preferred
• Experience with tools such as SolarWinds, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira; familiarity with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure is beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders effectively
• Demonstrated analysis skills with the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical issues confidently

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $3,100.00 per month
