The Role
We are on the lookout for a vibrant and enthusiastic Junior Library Assistant to join the team at the Geraldine Library and Service Centre and play an essential role in the delivery of their awesome library services!
In this busy role you will ensure all library resources are correctly shelved and presented to a high standard. You will also be committed to providing amazing customer service and respond to all customer queries in a friendly manner.
If you have a can-do attitude, passion for books, a good standard of literacy and numeracy and an eye for detail, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a perfect role for school students looking to gain valuable experience in a library setting!

This is a permanent part-time position offering 7 hours per week, spread over two weekdays (Monday – Friday) from 3.15 pm – 5.00 pm and Saturday 9.30 am – 1.00 pm. During school holidays and over December / January extra roster shifts may also be available. The hourly rate for this role is $27.80. Check out a copy of the position description here.
