Due to ongoing growth at Auto Parts Express, we are looking for a Junior Automotive Mechanic to join our Takanini branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in removing parts from a variety of car makes and models under the guidance of senior mechanics.
- Perform quality checks on parts before they are handed over to the sales or inventory team.
- Support senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Assist with the installation and replacement of vehicle parts such as belts, hoses, filters, and batteries.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical knowledge, with a strong interest in learning and developing skills in automotive repairs.
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 years of experience in a mechanic role, apprenticeship, or similar experience is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail when handling and checking parts.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
