Junior Networking Technician

Role: Junior Networking Technician working across a variety of technologies. No qualification or experience needed; full training provided.

Requirements:

• Delivery and install communications equipment
• Install of Cat6, Cat6A, Fibre & Voice Cable
• Terminate & Testing of all cable types
• Fiber Patching & Testing/Troubleshooting (OTDR - OLTS)
• Installing communications cabinets/racks
• Completing work sheets & reports, relevant to job completion.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines, method statements and risk assessments

Work Based Competencies:

• Current drivers' license
• Willingness to travel nationwide - Overnights required
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, sound computing skills also required
• Adherence to company standards and operating practices always
• Computer Literacy - proficiency of MS office; Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Understanding of the importance for detail and organisation
• Teamwork - Be an active member of the Surecom Team
