As a Junior Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you'll work on large-scale energy infrastructure projects that support the energy transition. You'll gain hands-on experience managing projects involving switchgear and power transformers, while learning from experienced colleagues in an international and collaborative environment.

A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you'll help drive projects from start to finish, coordinating with customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders. From tracking milestones and mitigating risks to solving technical challenges, you'll play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure that powers a sustainable future.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage assigned projects in accordance with Siemens Energy project management standards and governance processes.
  • Support the successful execution of projects from planning and kick-off through completion and customer handover.
  • Act as a key contact for customers regarding project activities, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project plans, milestones, budgets, KPIs, risks, and opportunities to keep projects moving forward successfully.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering teams, factories, suppliers, customers, and external partners.
  • Contribute to a strong Zero Harm culture by promoting safety and quality in all project activities.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced project managers and technical specialists, gaining valuable insight and development opportunities.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Some experience from project management, project coordination, engineering, commissioning, construction, or another technical project environment.
  • A strong interest in electrical infrastructure, substations, switchgear, transformers, power systems, or the energy sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and take increasing ownership of complex technical projects.
  • Fluent English and at least one Scandinavian language, both written and spoken.
