The Junior School Science Teacher is responsible for creating dynamic, experiential learning programs that foster scientific inquiry and innovation. The role involves planning and delivering differentiated lessons aligned with NESA guidelines, integrating ICT tools, and using varied assessment strategies to monitor student progress. Teachers will collaborate with classroom educators, contribute to curriculum development, and actively participate in the co-curricular life of the school. A commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and educational excellence is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging science and maker education lessons for K–6 students.
- Design inquiry-based, project-driven learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other Teachers and Teachers’ Assistants in a team-teaching model.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into teaching practice.
- Assess and report on student progress using varied strategies.
- Provide pastoral care and support holistic student development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in professional learning and co-curricular programs.
