Description

We’re Hiring: Key Account Manager – Abco Products

Location: Canberra on the road and work from home

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Do you love the chase as much as the close? Abco, a leading national provider of commercial cleaning equipment and consumables, is on the hunt for a Key Account Manager who treats every client relationship as an opportunity to grow. This is a hands-on, sales-driven role for someone who’s always hungry to win more business and turn trust into long-term commercial value.

ABOUT ABCO

Abco is a family-owned Australian business and one of the country’s leading suppliers of commercial cleaning equipment, consumables, and procurement solutions. With branches across Australia and New Zealand, Abco has built a reputation for service, innovation, and a culture that genuinely looks after its people.

Despite its scale, Abco has kept its family-business culture. The GBS (Growth by Sharing) bonus means every team member shares directly in the company’s success.

What You’ll Do:

    • Own a portfolio of key accounts and build trusted, multi-level stakeholder relationships
    • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and activating under-penetrated accounts
    • Consistently hit monthly revenue targets and weekly customer contact KPIs
    • Lead commercial conversations — including price objections — with confidence and credibility
    • Coordinate demos and quoting via internal support functions, keeping your focus on strategy
    • Translate account data and pipeline insights into clear, executable growth plans
    • Maintain tight CRM hygiene in NetSuite and communicate with precision across all channels

What We’re Looking For:

    • Proven experience in account management or BDM with a track record of hitting targets and growing existing revenue
    • Track record of being a relationship builder who earns trusted-advisor status — and then converts it into commercial growth
    • Energetic, resilient, and self-driven; you don’t need to be told to pick up the phone
    • Commercially sharp enough to hold your own in price and value conversations
    • Calm under volume — you can juggle a demanding inbox, multiple accounts, and shifting priorities without dropping the ball
    • Tech-comfortable across CRM, reporting tools, and client proposals (NetSuite experience a plus)

Preferred backgrounds: commercial cleaning, hygiene, packaging, safety supplies, facility consumables, or any B2B consumables or services environment. Industry knowledge helps but is not essential — drive and commercial instinct are.

Why Join Abco?

    • Work with a passionate and supportive team – Direct access to Regional Sales Manager and Senior Leadership
    • Transparent, values-driven culture with genuine flexibility
    • Be part of a growing company that values innovation and service
    • Attractive Salary and bonus scheme – Everyone shares in business growth
    • Vehicle provided – Fully maintained Dual Cab Ute
  • Interested? Submit your Resume and a brief cover letter outlining why you’d be a strong fit for Abco
