By understanding and anticipating client needs, you will help our team deliver tailored solutions that drive client success and reinforce our reputation as a trusted partner. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to retain clients and expand our footprint, contributing to the overall growth and success of Thomson Reuters. This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Key Account Manager, you will:
Develop book of business focusing on client engagement
Covers complex deals, including proactive outbound engagement during the renewal window.
Own renewals and ensures price yield achieved for designated accounts
Develops and executes on plans to drive usage and retention
Supports in developing and executing territory growth strategies
Prevent cancellations
Develop industry knowledge, understanding of what the client does and how they use our products and solutions
Account and territory planning
Possesses core knowledge across products within the subsegment, and engages additional teams where deep product expertise is required
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Key Account Manager if your background includes:
Previous 5+ years in a sales or client relationship management role
Managing and executing change, able to recognize risks to the portfolio, identify an action plan, and proactively coordinate mitigating actions with service delivery team
Strong collaboration & interpersonal skills
Experience, managing accounts in highly competitive environments
Ability to effectively communicate at executive level
Problem solving skills and ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
