Key Holder/Supervisor

We are a small team of passionate budtenders who have been serving the Yaletown community for over two years. We offer a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn tips on top of that. As a part-time employee, you will have 7-14 hours available each week, with the potential for additional hours through "pick-up" shifts.

The Position:

Looking for a well-rounded, responsible and friendly part-time keyholder. The candidate must be able to work with little to no supervision in a fast paced environment for opening and closing shifts, weekends, and some holidays. The candidate must be reliable and confident in keeping the store locked and secured when closing. The successful candidate will be asked to cover unscheduled shifts and may need to be available on short notice. Cannabis product knowledge is a strong asset and absolutely required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cashing in and out, making sure store is locked and secured
• Process card transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
• Receiving Product Deliveries on Delivery Days
• Keep the menu up to date with the latest products and pricing information
• Ensure the inventory is stocked and organized, conducting routine audits to maintain accurate stock levels
• Working closely with other team members and Manager to ensure smooth store operations
• Assist customers with their cannabis-related inquiries, providing expert product knowledge and recommendations based on their specific needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 19+ years of age
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, cannabinoids, and their effects
• Previous dispensary experience
• Selling it Right (may be obtained after successful interview)
• Reference Checks
• Available Friday and Saturday closing shifts
• Available some weekday closing shifts

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES:

• Previous Keyholding/Supervisor Experience
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Good Communication Skills
• Comfortable dealing with upset or difficult customers, maintaining professionalism at all times
