Kids Klub Summer Camp Counselor

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our summer camp team. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional direction of daily activities following appropriate risk management protocols;
• Takes accountability for the well-being of children participating in the program (aged 5 to 12);
• Assists with tracking participant enrollment records, participant files, incident/accident reposts, behavior write-ups, & daily attendance;
• Assists with documenting daily rental agreements;
• Assists with tracking of time sheets and inventory supplies, & communicating all needs and concerns to the Program Director;
• Executes daily camp activities;
• Collaborates with other staff to develop and implement program improvement strategies;
• Maintains a clean environment; and
• Enforces rules and ensures the program is operating within license requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma;
• At least 18 years of age;
• Ability to work varying daytime hours, Monday through Friday during scheduled weeks of camp;
• Leadership, communication, supervisory, organizational, and motivational skills;
• Working knowledge of sports, games, arts, and crafts;
• Valid driver’s license/reliable transportation;
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening;
• Must be CPR/AED and First Aid Certified or ability to become certified within the first month of employment (employer provided).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.25 - $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
