Duties and Responsibilities in Kinesiology

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities and designing exercise programs to improve their overall health and well-being. As a Kinesiologist, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness through movement and rehabilitation strategies and work closely with the physiotherapists on our team.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Implement therapeutic exercise programs aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
• Utilize software applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
• Previous experience in clinical care setting is preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
