The Kitchen Assitant Role

We are looking for an experienced, full-time Kitchen Assitant to join our team. This role will be based in our il Valentino cafe in Dublin 4.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, keeping service running smoothly while maintaining a positive, welcoming, and professional presence in our cafe.

Our Kitchen Assistants play a key role in creating a great customer experience in aiding our team throughout the day. You will be a strong link between our kitchen & front of house ensuring a smooth operation everyday.

We are looking for someone who is confident, punctual & a good team player with the ability to work with team members while assisting the kitchen & front of house with daily taks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily food prep
• Supports Kitchen Lead during shop set-up
• Supports both the kitchen & front of house with daily tasks
• Maintain a clean & organised location
• Ensures inbound deliveries are stored correctly & ensures stock is rotated.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times
• Works alongside the Kitchen Lead & Shop Manager to facilitate smooth day-day operation
• Supports the Delivery & Logistics Lead on arrival

· Ability to work well under pressure in a busy café environment

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Fluent English speaking

· Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers

· A positive and hospitable attitude, representing the company and brand

· Strong organisation and attention to detail

· Full-time availability, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours over a 7-day period

· A willingness to learn, grow, and develop skills within the company
