About our Nursery
Join our passionate team at Busy Bees in Bury St Edmunds, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 96 children. Our longstanding staff is dedicated to providing every child with the best start in life, working closely together to create a nurturing environment. What to expect as a Kitchen Assistant:

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements for children.
• Support the Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure kitchen inventory is well-maintained and assist with ordering and stock management.
• Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in food preparation or catering, preferably in a childcare or school environment.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
