Kitchen Assistant – Afternoons (2pm–7:30pm)
Secret Recipe, Ballincollig
Secret Recipe is looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our afternoon production team. This role involves working with prepared meals and assembling products on a fast‑paced production line. We’re seeking someone dependable, organised, and comfortable working in chilled environments while maintaining high food‑safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly
- Work efficiently on the production line
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across all kitchen areas
- Follow food‑safety guidelines and company procedures
- Support the team to meet daily production targets
- Handle ingredients and packaging in cool temperatures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food‑production setting
- Ability to work in cool temperatures
- Good spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Availability 4–5 afternoons per week (2pm–7:30pm)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €14.15 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
