Kitchen Assistant Required

Busy Thai Takeaway – Artane, Dublin 5

Saaep Thai is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Assistant to join our busy, well-established Thai takeaway in Artane, Dublin 5.

You will work alongside our existing kitchen team to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the store during service and prep times.

Key Duties (include but not limited to):

• Preparation of meats and vegetables
• Preparation of rice and other food items
• Cooking starters and assisting with main dishes
• Competent and safe use of kitchen equipment (fryers, woks, etc.)
• Preparation of sauces
• Reading orders accurately and preparing dishes correctly
• Assisting with packing customer orders when required
• Taking in deliveries from suppliers and checking accuracy
• Cleaning duties including fryers, extraction canopy, and general kitchen areas
• Store organisation and stock rotation
• KP duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation
• Able to follow instructions and kitchen procedures accurately
• Clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
