Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Applicant must be able to work 5 days Mon-Fri including some weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a full understanding of the restaurant menu to enable you to assist customers with any queries
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness & hygiene standards
• Ensuring food safety standards are strictly adhered to
• To be responsible for handling stock accurately and to ensure discrepancies are kept to a minimum and any occurences are recorded and reported to management team
• To be responsible for the day to day cleanliness of the kitchen area, and esure that as a business we are continually providing a comfortable, impeccably clean environment for our guests
• Learn and adhere to all recipes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures

Skills:

• Proficient in cooking techniques & food preparation
• In depth knowledge of the standards of baking, cooking and grilling techinques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
