Kitchen Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and selling functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen & other home interiors that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their preferences and requirements, utilising your design skills to create innovative solutions. The role will be based at our stunning showroom with our welcoming and experienced team.

Role expectations

• Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences.
• Create detailed kitchen layouts using CAD software
• Visiting projects to provide our home measure service
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances to enhance the overall design.
• Upkeeping of the showroom
• Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D renderings and samples.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prepare sales invoices
• Providing assistance to client and installers throughout the installation process
• Provide clients with after sales care and advice

Skills

• Strong basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Experience working in a sales focused retail environment
• Target and results driven
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
• 2 + years experience designing and selling kitchens
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing purposes

Working Hours

• Monday- Friday: 8am- 4pm
• Evenings & weekends when required

Any evening or weekend hours will be deducted from regular work week.

Salary

• £25k-28k per annum depending on experience

We are keen to have the position filled as soon as possible for a 2nd January start date.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
