Kitchen Designer/Sales

Colin Maher Design is a bespoke kitchen manufacturer & interiors company, specialising in the supply of luxurious kitchens, wardrobes, and home furniture

We have an amazing opportunity for a Kitchen Designer to join our team. The role will involve designing, estimating, coordinating, and managing a portfolio of projects from start to finish. Experience is essential in the Irish kitchen market , however the role would best suit a passionate junior designer wanting to improve there skill set in an environment where they can learn form the skilled cabinet makers around them and flourish in a bespoke manufacturing environment

You will be responsible for:

• Making a great first impression to clients that visit our Studio with the ability to discuss & demonstrate products and answer general enquiries
• Offering a consultative approach to customer briefs, demonstrating expertise by interpreting their requirements and delivering professional designs within the designated timescales.
• Organising, preparing for, and holding relevant meetings (Assisted by our team)
• Designing and estimating on CAD systems, along with producing high quality CGIs, presentations, and quotations.
• Presenting the design to the client and updating with any amendments.
• Liaising with clients to establish installation dates for projects
• Maintaining close relationships with all the Operations Teams.

The successful candidate will have/be:

• CAD experience ( preferably with artiCAD)
• IT literate with basic understanding of Google drive etc
• Analytical, strong written and verbal communicator and highly numerical.
• The ability to produce accurate work and possess a keen eye for detail.
• Highly organised and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A great personality, friendly nature and team player who has a strong work & moral ethic, is a must.
• Experience with bespoke kitchen furniture is a bonus
