Hood Cleaning Technician - Need a flexible schedule? This could be for you.

One Source Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning is looking to hire and train a Hood Cleaning Technician. Current need is part-time with potential to move to full-time/lead technician positions within the next year, with flexible hours.

Job growth/advancement opportunities available.

No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided. However, previous mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pressure washing, janitorial cleaning, or kitchen exhaust hood cleaning experience is a plus.

This schedule is varried and you would work 1-2 day jobs (9-11 am start) and 1-3 night jobs (10-11 pm start) a week. If this sounds like it could work for you let us know, we would rather discuss the schedule with you

Technician should:

• Be local to Levittown or have transportation to our office
• Have a working cell phone and respond promptly to all calls/texts
• Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and follow instructions
• Be physically fit; able to climb ladders, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at times
• Have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Be able to work flexible hours; 1-2 days and 1-3 nights (every Saturday off, occasional Fridays and Sundays)
• Be able to work safely in both hot, cold, and/or inclement weather
• Be able to complete work projects from start to finish with limited supervision
• Be able to learn new procedures quickly to assist with the exhaust cleaning process
• Job duties include:
• The set-up and take-down of equipment including: hanging plastic sheeting, mixing chemicals, setting up ladders, wet/dry vacuums, pre-sprayers, garden hoses, and high-pressure hoses
• Pre-scraping greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems
• Pressure washing the interior of kitchen exhaust systems (fans, ducts, and hoods)
• Final clean-up in kitchens by wiping down the hoods, mopping up the floors, etc.
• Independent completion of work projects with limited supervision
• Maintaining the cleanliness of company tools, equipment, and vehicles each night

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
