Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Kitchen Hand to support our team at an established Indian Sweet Shop. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring high-quality food preparation. Ideal for someone detail-oriented and enthusiastic about contributing to a traditional food environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, including preparation stations and washing zones, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Clean, sanitize, and organize cooking tools, pots, and other kitchen equipment used during food preparation.

· Support with inventory tasks by verifying and arranging incoming supplies, weighing ingredients, and ensuring proper storage.

· Assist in the preparation of ingredients, such as slicing, portioning, and assembling components for traditional Indian sweets, frozen treats, and other dessert offerings.

· Package desserts and sweets efficiently for takeaway customers and in-store displays.

· Operate equipment to prepare, warm, or process items needed for creating desserts following given guidelines.

Requirements:

• No experience or qualification required.
• Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene practices in a kitchen setting.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across all seven days as per the roster.
• Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Should be available to work till late as we open till late.
