Introduction:
Excite the children with your food wizardry – inspiring them to be curious and intrigued by all types of fruits and vegetables!

At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in building a learning environment where children are inspired to be curious about taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning, our Albury Centre, each day you can:

Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children

• Greet our wonderful families with a big, warm, friendly smile each day, and wow them with your barista-made coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)

Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators
Ensure the highest level of food safety by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen in accordance with the Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen in running each day smoothly.

About You:
A current Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Current Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
Current HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain)
National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age
Availability to work Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
The willingness to step up into the Chef’s role when they are absent from the Centre.
