Introduction:
Excite the children with your food wizardry – inspiring them to be curious and intrigued by all types of fruits and vegetables!

At Green Leaves Early Learning Warner Lakes, we take pride in building a learning environment where children are inspired to be curious about taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning Warner Lakes, each day you can:

• Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
• Greet our wonderful families with a big warm friendly smile each day, and wow them with your barista-made coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)
• Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators
• Ensure the highest level of food safety, by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
• Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen to run smoothly each day.

About You:

• Current Food Safety Certificate
• Current QLD Working with Children's Check
• Current QLD Child Protection Training
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age (preferred, not essential)
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
• The willingness to step up into the Chef’s role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday.
