Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food service.

Duties

• Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as directed by the chef or kitchen manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Support the cooking staff during service by preparing food items and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food products.
• Assist in serving meals to customers or guests as needed, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Help with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
