Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
• Support the overall organization of the kitchen by restocking supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for food handling and preparation.
• Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy and environmentally responsible.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times.

Experience

• Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous.
• Experience working in hotel kitchens or hospitality settings can be beneficial.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques or cooking is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
