Kitchen Lead

Teller's Taproom & Kitchen | Lakewood, CO

Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience

Are you ready to take the next step in your culinary leadership career? Teller's Taproom & Kitchen is looking for a Kitchen Lead to help lead our high-energy kitchen team. This position works closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure exceptional food quality, efficient operations, and a positive team culture.If you have experience leading a kitchen crew, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about food and hospitality, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Support the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations
• Lead and coach line cooks and prep team members
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency standards are met
• Always maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and food cost management
• Help train and develop team members
• Step into a leadership role during the Kitchen Manager's absence
• Foster a positive and accountable team culture

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 2 years of kitchen leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to lead a team in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and great food
