Cashel House Hotel is a multi-award winning Blue Book Country House Hotel set in the picturesque village of Cashel, Connemara, Co. Galway, which is situated 8 miles from Roundstone/Carna, 12 miles from Clifden and 40 miles from Galway City.
This is a vital role in a kitchen as it helps ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
Our successful candidate must be flexible with his/her hours as weekend work and split shift evening work is required. We have live in/out position available. Average working hours from August to when hotel closes on 2nd January 2024 will be 32/36 hours per week. Hotel closes from Mid November to Mid December 2023.
Key responsibilities:
- To work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of this section ensuring the standards of cuisine and hygiene are maintained
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
- Collect and wash up pots and pans.
- Ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and relevant health and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Accepting and signing deliveries
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
