Join us at MJ O’Connor’s, located on the banks of the River Shannon in picturesque Leitrim Village. With a strong focus on quality food, beverages, live music, and sports, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment and be part of a supportive and energetic team.
Job Type

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organised, and hygienic at all times
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required
- Dispose of waste correctly and maintain recycling practices
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Follow all health, safety, and HACCP procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Availability to work weekends
