The Lord Bagenal Inn is a busy restaurant, bar, and 40-bedroom hotel with a strong reputation for quality food and service. We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team.
Kitchen Porter Job Responsibilities:
-Carrying out basic cleaning tasks to the required standards and in a timely manner
-Washing and sanitising dishes, pots and utensils
-Emptying bins and ensuring waste areas are kept clean
-Unloading delivered equipment and food
-Ensuring the storeroom remains clean and organised at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas
- Assisting Chefs with basic food preparation when required
-Be prepared to carry out additional duties outside of general job description
-Ensuring that at the end of each shift the kitchen is ready for the next shift
Requirements of the Kitchen Porter Job
- Full training provided
- Good level of spoken English
- Teamwork and time management skills
