We have a great opportunity for an EXPERIENCED KITCHEN PORTER to join our team of professional chefs in Good Day Deli. Experience for this role is essential. The successful candidate will have relevant experience working with a close team in fast paced kitchens.
This is a full time role (40-42 hours) for a committed kitchen porter with 2+ years of experience organising a busy kitchen with high standards of service and HACCP. Working on weekends and flexibility throughout the week is required. This is a permanent position with room to grow with Good Day Deli.

The ideal candidates should have the following;
- 2+ years experience as a Kitchen Porter in a similar, fast paced cafe environment.
- Excellent standards of cleanliness and ability to organise and support a kitchen with high demands.
- Commitment to high standards of HACCP
- Knowledge and proficiency in equipment maintenance and deep cleaning
- Systems and efficiency focused
- Experience in training and managing other Kitchen Porter Team members.
- Stock intake and organisation.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Reliable and hardworking with flexiblity and availability to work on the weekends.
- An aptitude and desire to work on own initiative,
- Food prep experience is also a key plus with opportunities to learn kitchen skills.
