Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking.
• Help organise and store food supplies properly to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Support the culinary team by keeping workstations tidy and well-stocked with necessary tools and ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the cleaning of kitchen appliances, surfaces, and floors to uphold high sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
