Job Summary:

We’re on the hunt for an energetic and dependable Kitchen Porter & General Cleaner to join our awesome team! This is a 2 day per week job: Sundays and Mondays. If you love keeping things sparkling clean and organized, this is the perfect role for you. You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero, making sure our kitchen shines, our restaurant dazzles, and our team stays at the top of their game. Your eagle eye for detail and commitment to cleanliness will keep us looking sharp and running smoothly every day!

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure all prep-kitchen areas, including work surfaces, floors, and equipment, are kept clean and sanitized.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including the preparation kitchen and bathrooms.
• Ensure that guest areas are always tidy, clean, and presentable.
• Regularly check and restock supplies in bathrooms and other guest facilities.
• Keep staff areas clean, including break rooms, changing areas, and storage rooms.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and organized.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in proper waste disposal, recycling, and management of cleaning products.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a kitchen or restaurant environment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• A positive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
