The Wilds is a busy daytime Café and Home Store built on seasonal, whole-food cooking — Irish-first sourcing, fermentation, and honest ingredients. We're looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen running clean, fast, and safe.

Our cafe is a busy but very friendly place to work. We open Monday - Sunday 9.00-4.30pm for breakfast and lunch service and serve coffee/hot drinks/cakes etc.

We operate a roster system with various kitchen shifts between 7am - 5pm with a maximum of five shifts. Midweek and weekend availability is essential.

What you'll do

• Wash pots, pans, crockery, and utensils to a high standard
• Keep kitchen, prep areas, and equipment clean throughout service
• Keep the yard and bin area clean and compact cardboard
• Support chefs in all kitchen related duties as required
• Take out food waste and recycling correctly
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures
• Help with deliveries — unpacking and storing stock correctly

What we're looking for

• Reliable, punctual, able to keep pace during busy service
• Comfortable on your feet for shifts, in a fast-paced kitchen
• Team player with a good attitude
• No experience necessary — full training given
• Previous kitchen/porter experience an advantage but not essential
